Hailing from Japan, a country renowned for their gold standard denim, FDMTL have been producing bespoke denim goods since 2005. They champion the ethos of quality over volume of production, striving to make garments that can't be easily reproduced on mass. A lot of their inspiration stems from the Boro patchwork technique that combines offcuts of denim as means of repair for a garment, creating a unique blend of differently aged patches of denim material. They take this patchworking onto a heavyweight tee made from sweatshirt material, by stitching a patchworked denim composition onto the centre of the garment. Subtle branding on the sleeve and hem are stitched onto the garment, adding the final touches to this transitional piece.
